The photographs I'm sending you were taken at Fremont Drag Strip and the Winter Nationals in Pomona, California. I originally built the car to race it in B modified production class (B/MP). At that time, which was the mid 60's, I used a 327 small block. The ET was 11.30's 125mph. We were restricted to a 7 inch tire for the class. The car was white then. At some point in the 60's Chevrolet came out with a 427 big block. I built one using Hilborn fuel injection and put that in the corvette and ran B/G. Then the car was painted purple.
