Hello Byron,
Love your site. Always scanning it for ideas, parts, and history lessons on gassers. A few years ago I started my own gasser project, a steel 41 Willys coupe. No race history (sorry) as it was pulled from a farmers` field many years ago and has remained unchanged till a few weeks ago when I received a new frame from Fast Times Rods in Dunkirk NY who by the way did a great job with it. I want to build a gasser that I could drive on sunny days yet take down the 1/4 on occasion. It'll be running a blown 392 with a 4-port Hilborn and an M-22 for fun on the streets. I have attached a few recent pics of the car sitting on the new frame and one of the Hemi that I have had sitting in my garage waiting for many years now. Original 41 axle drilled and chromed w/new leafs up front , 9 inch rear w/ coilovers out back (sorry no Olds or leafs in rear). I saw your "Visitors' Rides" section and thought you might like to post some more pics.
Take care and keep that site going, it really inspires me.
