I recently found this 55' that was an old B/Gas drag car in South Eastern Wisconsin.
Looking for any history or if any one recalls the car.
Car does not look exactly like the photo but this is what it looked like in the early 70's when it went back to street driving.
Car has a 327- 4speed.
Early 37-40 ford front axle, and motor set back.
Any info would be great!!!!

This car is was a South Eastern Wisconsin veteran that was raced in the early 60's on into the 70's.
It raced in the following classes..............
B/Gas, C/Gas, and D/Gas, with everything from a 283, 292, 301, 327 and 409 , mainly at Union Grove, in Michigan, and Illinois.
An internally period correct 301' and Chrysler Hemi 4speed try to damage the 59' Olds rear end.
Extreme detail was taken to keep 99% of the car period correct.
