~ Byron's Gasser Madness ~

~ Wrieden & Wrieden's 57 Chevy ~

Hello Byron,
Heres a pic of my 57 from this years March Meet- although not a full blown gasser- I do get a lot of people that tell me it reminds them of the Chevys that used to run C or D gas in the 60's. We ran a best of 11.362 ET at 116.20 MPH- car weighs in at 3,620 w/driver (it was cool getting it weighed at Famoso during Tech) with a Sm Blk chevy, Turbo 400 trans and a Ford 9" rear.
I love your site, keep up the good work.

Hello Byron-

Here's a couple of recent shots of my 57 that we race in Southern California. We've been having a lot of fun- recent add-ons- new motor 383 CI Chevy (12.7 to 1), transbrake, Fenderwell headers and fiberglass hood. Car has run a best 1/8th mile of 7.003 at 96 MPH (2,800 ft DA) with new combo- looking forward to running at Carlsbad Raceway to see what it will run in the 1/4. Hope all is well at Gasser Madness- keep up the great work!
